Seven sanghas, one center.

Each sangha listed below maintains its own practice, schedule, and leadership. All gather under the shared roof of the Bozeman Dharma Center. Visitors are welcome at every group — you don't need to commit to one.

Insight Meditation in the tradition of IMS and Spirit Rock.

Vipassana practice rooted in the early Buddhist teachings. Our Thursday evening sit includes a guided meditation and dharma reflection; the Tuesday morning sit is silent practice with check-in.

Bozeman Zen Group

Soto Zen practice — zazen, kinhin, and chanting.

We offer daily morning zazen on Zoom, a Sunday morning practice with chanting and book study, and an in-person Sunday evening sit with formal zendo procedures.

Palyul Tibetan Buddhist Sangha

Nyingma practice in the Palyul lineage.

Practice and study in the Palyul tradition of Tibetan Buddhism, with regular Nectar of the Path liturgy and occasional teachings from visiting lamas.

Joy of Living and Path of Liberation, in the lineage of Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche.

Weekly hybrid practice exploring the meditation methods Mingyur Rinpoche developed for modern practitioners. Open to beginners and experienced students alike.

Secular mindfulness for ages 18–40.

A drop-in group for younger adults exploring mindfulness without religious framing. Guided meditation, discussion, and community.

Recovery Dharma Bozeman

A Buddhist-inspired path to recovery from addiction.

Open to anyone working with addiction or compulsive behavior. We read from the Recovery Dharma book, meditate, and share.

Drawing from multiple Buddhist streams.

A non-sectarian group that brings together teachings from Theravada, Zen, and Tibetan traditions through silent practice and discussion.
